VLSI or Very Large Scale Integration involves development of Integrated Circuits by integrating numerous transistors on a single chip. The VLSI technology has revolutionized the way SSI/MSI circuits are place in a chip in cost effective way to save the space on the mother boards, embedded systems etc.
VLSI is not a new concept it has been around with us for nearly four decades; however today the concept has increase manifolds in scale & scope. The VLSI module will give the trainee up to date knowledge on the VLSI implementation and design. The VLSI design is typically classified into the three categories: Analog, Application Specific Integrated Circuits and Systems on a chip.
